Homeless...........?

More shots from last weekend, these individuals approached us for money, and I gave each a dollor for a second of their time, to work as portrait models. I really think I'm going to make a project out of this homeless situation. Just from my own personal feelings of sadness, when I see this on our streets. I think I want to interview and photograph more of these people, and find out who they are, what happened, why they are in this situation, when they became part of the streets, where is their family, and maybe how they can change for a better situation. I think I may make it into some form of a book, and tell some stories about peoples lives. I'm sure this has been done by some one at some point in time. It is just something that intrigues me for some reason, about having to survive on the streets. And I just cant help but wonder whose father, son, uncle, or brother.....that I just photographed.........someone out there has to care.
