Sunrise in the Ozarks

Postby NateW » Tue Jul 21, 2009 11:40 pm

Let's see if the FB upload can be used as a online storage site for this kind of thing:
Maybe! Someone else getting an awesome picture? (loaded question, I know...)

Image
Slight saturation bump in PP (iPhoto sat 50=>65 on scale of 0<x<100), but otherwise untouched from capture to JPG image. Camera settings were for Vivid+3 and IIIa color (most colorful setting possible on the D80).

and another:
Image
B&W'd in iPhoto, no other actions.

And a third:
Image
zero PP adjustments. Color settings as mentioned above for in-camera (which I read on Ken Rockwell's site is pretty similar to Velvia 50).

We'll see on my images how close it is when I get the Velvia 100 back from the medium format I was shooting with the same morning as the top two images.

Thanks!
Nate

Nice. I'd try to get some additional colors out of the first one.
